FAQs

SUPPORT, GUIDANCE & SAFETY

Guide / Leadership

The group is accompanied by a professional cycling guide, responsible for group management, pacing, breaks, safety, and day-to-day logistical coordination.

Support Vehicle (present on every riding day)

A support truck follows the group throughout each ride:

  • allowing any participant to hop in at any time if they feel unwell or wish to shorten their day,

  • providing on-route nutrition and hydration (water, food, electrolytes as needed),

  • and serving as a logistics and universal support vehicle on the road and gravel tracks.

On-ride Mechanical Support

In addition to the support vehicle, mechanical support is integrated directly within the riding group.

This allows for:

  • quick adjustments and minor repairs on the move,

  • efficient handling of mechanical issues,

  • and keeping the group safe, fluid, and moving throughout the journey.

Decision-making in Case of Accident or Emergency

In the event of an incident or accident:

  1. The guide makes the immediate on-site decision (securing the area, stopping, evacuating, or continuing),
  2. coordinates with the support vehicle,
  3. and, if necessary, organizes transport to a local clinic or hospital, depending on the situation.

The priority is always:

safety → rapid care → clear communication with the group.

Pre-departure Rides (Group Synergy)

Before departure, we will also organize two preparatory rides for all registered participants:

  • one ride in August
  • one ride in September

The goal is to build group cohesion, validate equipment, answer remaining questions, and ensure that everyone departs confident, prepared, and aligned.
